Rainmaker Ranch Labradoodles
We consider our breeding dogs, our Australian Labradoodle program and the families with our puppies our responsibility and our priority.
We have worked together for many years, and as families move so have the programs. Having more than one partner is good for you and good for us. This allows us to be the Australian Labradoodle breeders we think we should be; provide the labradoodle puppies we think we must provide; and care for our breeding dogs the way we think they should be cared for.
We live in suburban areas; our Australian Labradoodle and Labradoodle dogs live inside our home with us. We do not live in rural areas (allowing many outside dogs), we breed only the Australian Labradoodle breed and we do not have cages, runs or kennels. We believe the parents of your labradoodle puppy provide an important part of the 0-8 weeks experience to their puppies. In addition, we like to spend individual time with each litter, getting to know each puppy daily, understanding what they need in regard to training and socialization. This can only be achieved if we have one or two litters at a time. If a personal emergence arises for one of us the other can step in, fly over and help out. We have developed our Australian Labradoodle program together to make our program a program we are very proud to share.
We believe the families that adopt our puppies are very important.
- We will place a healthy, well tempered family companion with your family. We strive to provide each family the perfect Australian Labradoodle puppy for their situation.
- We health test all our breeding dogs using the latest testing methods (DNA, Hips, Elbows, Heart, Eyes, and Blood work) and keep current on the Australian Labradoodle and Labradoodle breeds, the parent breeds, temperament profiles, temperament testing, training, conformation, pedigrees and health issues.
- We have many generations of health and temperament testing, all our females are related, and we know them inside and out. We select the best of the best Australian Labradoodle stud dogs with the same criteria we have for our own program.
- We work closely with our veterinarians. All health data is available upon request, you may contact our veterinarians for recommendations.
- Not only do we provide weekly information and materials to our families watching their puppy grow from 0 to 8 weeks, we maintain communication with our extend families far after the placement of a puppy.
- More than one location with less litters each a year provides us the advantage of a short wait for the families waiting while not forgoing all of the things we believe are important and are listed on this website.
This effort requires time, study, and research. Using the capabilities we each posses we cast a wide net to gather this information, learn and share.
We believe our dogs are important.
Our breeding dogs are not a commodity, producing something for us then sent to a rescue, a kennel or just abandoned. Our dogs are our kids, our family. We treat them as we believe all pet should be treated. Our dogs, live inside, sleep with our kids, are well trained, socialized and loved. We keep our dogs for life or select guardian families. Guardian families are families that love and care for one of our dogs, how we believe they should be cared for and loved, for life. Guardian families allow us to health and temperament test then breed this dog a few times in our home.
We hope this page allows you to better understand why having more than one very small breeders working together is an advantage to you, it is an advantage to your puppy
to us and our dogs.
I realize it is confusing, but to us we would have it no other way. It works for us, our families and the dogs.
